This Wednesday is going to be a great night of worship!  We’re having a band come in, and we’re going to be having different elements to the night, each part tying in to what we’ve been studying about the world, and leading us in to where we’re going– a look at the Kingdom.  You’re not going to want to miss it!

This Wednesday is also going to be a celebration of Stephen’s time on staff as the Guys’ Lead.  Come prepared to celebrate his leaving (not in a cruel way)!  ;-)

It’s TIME………. for some Midnight Mischief!!!  This is going to be a late night event that you and all your friends will not want to miss!  This is going to be a night of unsurpassed FUN.  We’re going to have inflatables, be playing glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, playing a game in complete DARKNESS (we’re going to be shutting off all the outside lights in our facilities), and ending the night making our own desserts.  And all of this for only $10.  Start inviting your friends!

We’re jumping back into our “World” series tomorrow night, with only two weeks left until we move into our series on “The Kingdom” (taking a look at what it means to live in the Kingdom of God).  Tomorrow we’re taking a look at oppression in the world today, and the oppression that effects our hearts all too often as believers.  Don’t miss out!  6:30-8:30pm in The Herd Room.  Be there.

That’s right, it’s that time of year again– San Diego Serve 2010!  San Diego Serve is our Easter break missions project, ministering with a church-plant in San Diego, serving the homeless and needy in downtown San Diego.  The predominant ministry we do while we’re in San Diego is hands-on ministry to homeless through providing them with food, necessary supplies (toothbrushes, combs, socks, etc.), as well as prayer.  We hit the streets downtown as students and leaders, partnered with local believers who serve alongside the homeless there every week.  It’s a great opportunity to take the time we have over the break to serve and show the love of Christ to the people who need it most.
