Welcome to the Herd Jr. High Ministries online blog. My name is Jon Schliep, and I am the Pastor of Jr. High Ministries at Bethany Church in Long Beach, CA. The vision of our ministry is the same as that of our church… that we desire to be an authentic Christian community of followers of Jesus, that love God, love others, and live missionally- helping others do the same. We believe in the infallible Word of God (the Bible), in boldly teaching the Truth from that Word, and in being a part of a community that can help keep us accountable to live lives in obedience to Jesus Christ.
